Aromatics
The Company's aromatics products
consist principally of paraxylene, toluene, benzene and xylene.
Paraxylene is used to
produceterephthalic acid, a raw material
for polyester fiber and resin. Toluene is a raw material for
polyurethane an solvents. Benzene is a feedstock for a number
of downstream petrochemical, including styrenic resins, nylon
and epoxy resin.
Xyiene is a feedstock for paraxyiene and solvents.
